Start class with brainstorming about students experience choose
one or two students for telling short story about their experience (teacher pay
attention to their grammar but just keep on note) introduction the topic and
the objective of this lesson ask them what they have known about the topic and
what they want to know more start tiki-toki by asking a question about Bung
Karno's tomb. If there is a students have been go there, ask he/she to tell
their story but guide he/she appropriates with the sequence in the tiki-toki.
If there is no student has been go there, just imagine with your students that
you visit it together. Telling the story and the theory after finished the tiki-toki review again the
materials. Ask them : what is recount text? what is the function of recount
text? how the structure of recount text? activity for students: in group make
an example recount text. They can create their own ideas.
